History

1986

Arrival of the SMA group among the Corbins in Saint-Emilion with the purchase of Château Haut Corbin and Château Le Jurat.

2012

Haut Corbin was integrated into Château Grand Corbin, which now covered 28.5 hectares (70 acres) of vines with the rank of Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

2021

Laure Canu becomes the Managing Director of Châteaux Grand Corbin and Cantemerle.

2022

A new consultant oenologist joins the estate with the arrival of Axel Marchal, a renowned researcher and professor. This collaboration is fully in line with the estate’s vision: to evolve the style without altering its true nature, by putting technique at the service of the terroir and not the other way around. Grand Corbin opens its doors to the public with the arrival of Marion Millaire-Ducourtieux, Hospitality Director. Tours, events, and overnight stays are designed as human, personalized, and accessible experiences, where wine is discovered through conversation and shared time.

2025

Marie Flandrin joins the technical team as Estate Manager, in collaboration with Grégory Thibault, Technical Director of Château Cantemerle.
