History
Jean-Philippe Janoueix purchased this magnificent single plot of 5.10 hectares in 2007. Since then, a thorough analysis of the soil and vineyard characteristics has made the wines of La Confession even more unique. The clay-limestone terroir is translated through a creamy (clay) and fresh (limestone) palate.
Patient work was rewarded with La Confession being classified as a Grand Cru Classé in September 2022.
