Château Grand Corbin-Despagne

The name of a locality, Grand Corbin, associated with that of the Despagne family, who have been in Saint-Emilion for more than four centuries, gave rise to Château Grand Corbin-Despagne in 1812. Different generations have contributed their knowhow and since the first Saint-Emilion classification, the vineyard has been recognised as worthy of the distinction of being a Grand Cru Classé. Today the seventh generation, represented by François Despagne, manages this vineyard. From the pruning to the bottling, all the processes involved in producing a Grand Vin are carried out with due respect for nature and using environmentally friendly agricultural methods to ensure sustainable economic development, according to the Terra Vitis Charter and AFAQ AFNOR certification.
