les Terroirs de Suravenir
Joseph Brisson purchased the Cru des Cordeliers and brought together the vineyard plots of Les Menuts, Bergat and La Cote de Bouchon.
Ranked as a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé in 1955, it has maintained its status ever since.
The estate was taken over by Paul Goldschmidt and Aline Guichard. The vineyard was given integrated farming status (agriculture raisonnée) in 2009.
In this year, the estate was purchased by Artémis Domaines. The acquisition enabled the initiation of a transitional process towards the vineyard becoming agro-ecological with horses being used to work the soils and bio-dynamic methods being introduced.
