Vineyard created : Estate bought by the family in 1897 (previously named Cru des Cordeliers, vineyard created in 1696).

Position : Located on the Saint-Emilion limestone plateau and south-facing slopes, the largest part begins in front of Château Trottevieille and extends over to Troplong-Mondot and Pavie Macquin.

Surface area : 6.24 hectares (15 acres)

Soil Type : South facing clay limestone plateau and hillsides

Grape varieties : 80% merlot , 20% cabernet franc

Average age of vines : 41years
