Château La Serre

Château La Serre is located near Saint-Emilion, 200 m from the town’s ramparts and set between three premiers crus classés. The estate gets its name from its exceptional south facing position. The house was built at the end of the 17th century by Romain de Labayme whose very old family included jurats (councillors), lawyers in the Bordeaux Parliament and five mayors between 1541 and 1728. The last one bore the title "Lord of Laserre".
