Château Soutard

In the shade of the bell tower of Saint Emilion, the estate harmonizes a rich heritage with a true modernity. Our wines are a part in this vivid spirit as we suggest a different style which confirms the great potential of the limestone hill.
Bought in 2006 by the insurance company “AG2R La Mondiale” who already owned Chateau Larmande (Grand Cru Classé) and Château Grand Faurie La Rose (Grand Cru) very cloth each other. Chateau Soutard was the target of a huge renovation. With the big restoration’s works, handled tactfully and reverently, the estate made a fresh start in the wine field but also in the oenotourism.

In 2012, Cadet Piola was integrated into Soutard vineyard. This union was made possible thanks to the last wine classification of Saint Emilion and now, Soutard plot is around 30 hectares.
